Update: Fixed bugs + Extra
Gems Seeker » Devlog
So... I never wanted an update, but I don't want to let a bug stayed on this game for a long time. And since there is a bug fix, why not update it? So here are the updates:
- Most complains on not knowing the number of gems they have when they enter the shop. Therefore, I'll add that.
- There are bugs when buying gems in the shop. I messed up the cost of speed and timer as it follows the jump cost although it displays its current cost. That bug is fixed.
- I changed the duration of timer for both normal and hard. Normal is now 120 seconds while hard is just 90 seconds.
- Since the size of the flashlight seems big enough, I decided to shrink the size of the flashlight would grow when buying its upgrade, from 1.5 to 1.25.
- When the player returns to the main menu, the mouse cursor is still none instead of back to normal. That bug is fixed.
- The gameplay music is still playing once the player reached the victory although it is not supposed to be like that. That is fixed.
- Since the voting session in game jam has started, I noticed that no one downloaded the executable files version. Therefore, I deleted them.
And now you might be wondering, why didn't you update it before the voting session begins? Well, first, I was too tired therefore I was asleep and I was awake when there was only an hour left before the game jam ends. And second, is that one hour might not be enough to update my games. It is possible to update the HTML5, but not the downloads. It may take less than an hour to export it to nw.js, but it might be when uploading to the page.
