Nice little idea, and I love the name!
One issue I'm running into is that if you have to take time to read the equation, you can't pay attention to the field which means a fast moving spear could hit you or in the mean time a number bubble could hit you and make you lose progress.
Great!!!
It's a pity that only linear equations are used.
